ABOUT:
"short indies" is about giving the art of the short film the attention that it deserves. The running time of a short film ranges somehwere between 3 to 15 minutes and the average short film lives a shelf live of a year or two before they are long discarded and fogotten about. We take film submissions no matter how old or new they are, then we pick 5 films/filmmakers and screen their films live with an audience, every other month. We hold a Q and A on stage after each film, which is filmed by a camera crew. The Audience is encouraged to ask questions. The whole thing is then put on this website for all to see. It's fun to watch on the net, but it's something special to be there live in the audience. Also the Full Bar helps.
If your not familiar with the venue The ND, it's huge! With a large film screen and a stage. They are known to house many film screening events as well as having live music throughout the month. The staff will happily accomodate your beverage needs.
